We are pleased to announce that our next Charlotte BIPOC Meditation Community meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7pm at JCSU Humanities Building in Room 110.
Our monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7pm in the JCSU Humanities Building in Room 110.
Future community events will be open to all, please stay tuned for more details.
We have been diligently working with our parent organization, the Social Good Fund, to obtain approval for non-profit status with the benefits that accompany this designation. On Monday, April 15, we were approved as a non-profit organization. We are also a sister organization with the Charlotte Center for Mindfulness.

On February 16th, 2024 we hosted Dr. Vesely-Flad is Associate Professor of Religion, Philosophy, & Social Justice & Visiting Professor of Buddhism & Black Studies at Union Theological Seminary to discuss her book Black Buddhists and the Black Radical Tradition. Following on February 17th, she lead a half-day meditation retreat.
